It got really boring when I maxed out all skills, and the rest of the grind was "League Respect" and "Street Respect" (Loot boxes for nba gear and street gear).īut thats what happens when the grind is really fast. I think its the best option for someone who wants to just play a basketball game for 1-3 hours and call it a day each day And the experience doesn't feel rewarding when you level up. But to be 90 overall to actually do team trades is frustrating.

Live might be the better option if you wanna play just fun arcadey basketball.Ģk is if you want to play a more commited game and you're ok with grind because the best players play there. Which is a bit more exciting and fun to do. I still play live everyday.theres a new challenge to unlock new gear (rare jerseys or brand name clothes or double exp). But if you find people who pass it's very enjoyable. The community is very toxic with ball hogs (I had a 10 year old kid told me really offensive stuff while he refused to cross half court unless the ball was in his hand). Or so has sticky hands that can steal anything against physics. There are dumb bugs here and there like AI has all same jersey number. The cut scenes are dumb text messages that serve no purpose, but at least you can skip it. Live 18 grind is sooo rewarding for my player. I had to delete it from my PC and say good bye to 160$ invested in it (I'm ashamed to buy VC just so I could play on park not like a noob) So 2k has been so frustrating and boring from the grind. NBA live 18 was the best live game I've played in a long time.
